In 2021 Waypoint Engineering was founded by Roger Schlachter and Nathan Haines. As two experienced software consultants, we were interested in exploring new problems and decided to step out into the unknown to build something ourselves. We recognized this as an opportunity to push some of the typical boundaries faced by consultancies.
We want Waypoint to be a place where people are excited to work with us. When it comes to consulting, our clients are often in a position where they need assistance quickly. Our senior-level consultants are adept at swiftly onboarding and can leverage their knowledge to make a quick impact. In addition, we understand that communication is critical to project success, which is why each client gets an Executive Sponsor. Clients deserve more than just bodies in seats, they need a true partner who is equally committed to the success of their project.

This helps deliver the best possible solution for our partners as well as find new opportunities that keep our consultants excited. In 2022 we brought on Charlie Horning as our Managing Partner. Charlie’s expertise not only strengthens our leadership but also drives our approach to client engagement and project delivery.
